What We Offer
From books and museum passes to e-readers and Launchpads, the NDPL has a lot to offer!
Books, Books, Books!
The New Durham Public Library is pleased to offer a wide variety of books for children, teens, and adults. Our collection has something for everyone: fiction, nonfiction, picture books, graphic novels, large-print books, and audiobooks.
eBooks & Audiobooks
Your NDPL card gives you access to thousands of ebooks, audiobooks, and magazines right from home through our OverDrive virtual library.
We also have a great selection of CD audiobooks on hand. No CD player? The library has one you can borrow!
Computer & Internet
The New Durham Public Library has 5 computers with internet access as well as several Chromebooks, iPads, and eReaders that can be used. We also have Playaways (audiobook players for kids) and Launchpad tablets that can be checked out.
Magazines
The library has subscriptions to popular magazines such as Better Homes & Gardens, Yankee Magazine, Consumer Reports, AARP, and Smithsonian. Patrons can read at the library or check out magazines to take home.
Copy, Print & Fax Services
Need to make a copy, send a fax, print or scan a document? Come to the library! Copies, printing, faxes, and scanning are all available to our patrons. We also have computers and internet in case you need to email your files.
Historical Documents
The library has a collection of historical documents, town genealogy records, and a subscription to Ancestry.com. We also have a wide selection of materials on NH State histories available for use in the library or to check out for further study.
Museum Passes
Thanks to the generosity of our patrons and the Friends of the New Durham Public Library, we are able to offer our patrons free and reduced admission passes to several local museums. Go to our Museum Pass page to see a full list of available passes.
Library of Things
The NDPL is happy to be able to offer several items that our patrons can borrow. We have a telescope, a CD player, e-readers, Playaways, Launchpads, STEM activity sets for children, and more.
Library Programs
The library offers programming for all ages. In addition to book clubs and storytimes, we also offer STEM and art activities throughout the year. View our programming page to see a list of current programs. Learn about upcoming activities on Facebook or our news page.
