Welcome to Summer Reading 2022 at NDPL!  The theme this year is Oceans of Possibilities.

Here is what you need to know!

This year it’s The Goodwin Library in Farmington vs New Durham.  The library who reads the most books wins the grand prize! The children’s librarian from the losing library has to dye her hair a funky color–a color decided by the winning library.

When you come into the library, let the librarian know how many books you’ve read and we’ll add them to our scoreboard.

There are 2 Raffle Baskets kids can enter to win.

Raffle Basket #1= Snacks, Redbox gift card, a stack of books, and 4 tickets to a Fishercats game.  The drawing will be July 16th.

Raffle Basket #2= A beach themed basket with a cool float, pool toys, and a stack of books. The drawing will be July 30th.

Every time you come into the library, you get a raffle ticket for your chance to win!

This year we have a summer reading program for the adults!  Adults get a raffle ticket for every book they read and they can enter to win 1 of 3 prizes. Drawing for raffle baskets will be held on August 6th.

Raffle Basket #1= Gourmet Snacks, a Hannaford Gift Card, and a book

Raffle Basket #2=A book themed basket with book socks, book tote, page holder, books, and a gift card to Gibson’s Bookstore.
